To provide our inventory and tracking services, we collect the following data points:
- Log Data: The information you log, including pump dates/times, amounts (ounces/milliliters), and storage locations (e.g., fridge, freezer, deep freezer).
- Tags and Preferences: Any custom tags or application settings you define to organize your stash.
- Usage Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated data regarding how you use the app to help us fix bugs and improve the experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is strictly used to power the app's features. Specifically, we use it to:
- Calculate your stash totals, growth analytics, and averages.
- Organize your milk using FIFO (First In, First Out) rules.
- Calculate expiry statuses and send local push notifications (if enabled) before milk passes its safe window.
3. Subscriptions & Premium Features
MilkStash offers optional premium features handled securely via RevenueCat. When you purchase a subscription or lifetime pass, payment processing and subscription statuses are managed by your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play). We do not collect, process, or store your credit card information.
4. Data Storage
We believe your data is yours. Primary inventory data is stored locally on your device or synced securely to your private cloud account (such as iCloud). We will never sell your personal data or feeding habits to third parties.
